In late September 2022, Florida was hit by Hurricane Ian. This was its most destructive storm since 1935. Within four days it almost reached category five. A statewide state of emergency was declared along with evacuation orders.
There was millions of power outages. After several weeks, tens of thousands of residents are still without power. The winds reached up to 155mph. The result has destroyed more than 100,000 homes and much of the state infrastructure.
Democrats have wasted no time in showing their double standards and ignorance. Don Lemon from CNN insisted to the NOAA Director Jamie Rhome that climate change must be brought up during the hurricane aftermath. He wanted to know "what effect does climate change have on this phenomenon that is happening now because it seems these storms are intensifying. That's the question here." Rhome shut down Lemon, assuring him that there's no direct relationship.
Democrat Senator Amy Klobuchar stated on MSNBC "we just did something about climate change for the first time in decades. That's why we gotta win this as that hurricane bears down on Florida. We gotta win this in the midterms." Thanks for reminding us that the climate change activist agenda is really all about power.
Just two days after the Hurricane landed, Nancy Pelosi surprised the nation during a press conference with the most profoundly racist opinions. As she made false claims about border security, she stated that "we have a shortage of workers in our country and you see even in Florida some of the farmers and the growers saying why are you shipping these immigrants up North? We need them to pick the crops down here."
What about Pelosi's so called moral commitments to migrants? Why does she make them sound like disposable commodities. She might as well come out and say she okay with slavery. She believes that migrants exist as a poor class of laborers and not equals who are capable of success.
